A superb performance from GMSC member Ross Fernie, bringing his Subaru Impreza home in a fine 2nd overall and, importantly, as the first SSVRC competitor across the finish line. 🏁
Ross showed impressive pace and consistency throughout, adapting brilliantly to the challenging conditions around the demanding Kames circuit. A thoroughly deserved result and a strong showing for the championship. 👏🔥

Following the excitement of the previous championship rounds, competitors arrived at Muirkirk knowing that every championship point would prove crucial as the season entered its decisive stages.
Kames Circuit’s unique blend of flowing corners, technical complexes and unforgiving track limits once again provided the perfect test of driver commitment, precision and consistency.
Close battles unfolded throughout every championship class, with only fractions of a second separating many crews after each stage. As wether conditions evolved during the day, competitors continually searched for extra performance, knowing a single mistake could dramatically affect both class and overall championship standings.
Kames once again rewarded clean, committed driving while punishing those who overstepped the limit. Late braking, precise car placement and confidence through the faster sections proved decisive as crews fought for every available second.
Behind the scenes, the event ran thanks to the dedication of the organisers, marshals, and volunteers, whose professionalism ensured another safe and successful championship round. Their continued commitment remains the foundation of Scottish grassroots motorsport and is greatly appreciated by every competitor.
Once again, the championship showcased the incredible depth of talent throughout the Scottish Single Venue Rally Championship, with experienced championship contenders, rapid emerging competitors and closely contested class battles producing superb entertainment from the first stage to the final flying finish.
