Autotest Training Day at Knockhill on Sat 17th of September

INTRODUCTION TO AUTOTESTING
Organised by Glenrothes Motor Sport Club Ltd in conjunction with GoMotorsport
All new entrants to motorsport require a proper introduction to thebranch of motorsport they are particularly interested in. This will clearly illustrate what will be involved, and how they can proceed to enter their chosen motorsport discipline.
If you would like to consider Autotesting, GLENROTHES MOTOR SPORT CLUB has developed an introductory programme to provide information about this type of motorsport. This also gives practical training in driving techniques, in order to give newcomers the ability to experience the enjoyment of competitive events.
GMSC has a car available for prospective participants to use for their initial induction and training, without having to use their own vehicle. Having had this initial driving experience in the club car, we are sure most will then have the confidence to use their own vehicle.
The first introductory event will take place at Knockhill Racing Circuit on Saturday 17th September, where GMSC has access to one of the large paddock areas, depending on the level of interest.
The cost of the training day will be just £15.00, and for this participants will receive:
- One year’s membership of Glenrothes Motor Sport Club
- Practical training in driving skills by an experienced Autotest driver
- Participation as a driver in an entry-level Autotest where newly-found skills can be put to use
- The club car will be available but attendees will also be able to use their own vehicles
