Supplementary Regulations

 

1 Glenrothes Motor Sport Club Ltd. will promote a Clubman status Autosolo event on Sunday April 30th 2017 at Knockhill Racing Circuit, by Dunfermline, Fife.

 

2. The meeting will be held under the General Regulations of the RACMSA Ltd incorporating the provisions of the International Code of the FIA, these supplementary regulations, and any written instructions the promoting club may issue.

 

3. MSA Permit No. TBA

 

4. The event is open to all fully elected members of the organising Club and also members of  the following invited Clubs: Dunfermline CC, 750 MC, Stonehaven & Dist. MC, Scottish Sporting CC, South of Scotland CC, 63 CC, EUMSC, Solway CC, GUMSC, Aberdeen & District MC, Berwick & District MC, East Ayrshire CC, Knockhill MSC, 55 CC and all other clubs who are members of the SACC.

 

5. All entrants must produce a valid club membership card, (if necessary, available at signing on)

 

M22 Entries may be accepted from Drivers who are aged 14 years and over who do not have a valid, full RTA Licence subject to:

a)       The vehicle must by definition be a ‘Touring Car’

b)       The vehicle engine capacity must not exceed 2000cc forced induction

c)       A passenger must be carried who holds a valid, full RTA licence, and be experienced in AutoSOLOs

 

6.The programme of the meeting will be:- Scrutineering starts at 09.00a.m., and any competitor not signed on by 09.45.a.m. may be excluded. First car starts at 10.00.a.m.

 

7. The Autosolo will consist of 6 classes as follows :-

1. Series Production Saloons up to 1400cc

2. Series Production Saloons 1400cc to 1800cc

3. Series Production Saloons over 1800cc

4. Sports Cars

5. All Other Cars

6. Hybrid, Battery or Electric Powered Cars- Must be Standard Production Cars

 

8.All cars must be capable of being driven to the event (Taxed, MOT and Insured) All vehicles must comply with RACMSA Technical Regulations.

J5.4.1 Forced induction coefficient will not apply.

 

9. Child Protection: – If competitor is under 18, Entry Form must be countersigned by a parent or guardian. The Parent or guardian, or an appointed representative must be present during the competition and must sign on the competitors signing on sheet. If a parent or guardian will not be present, a responsible adult representative must be appointed, must show written authority from the parent or guardian to act as the child’s representative and must countersign the competitors signing on sheet

 

10. Awards will be presented as follows in each event:-

1st in class- an award providing 3 or more start in the class.

FTD- an award.

First Team of 3 Cars – an award

First Newcomer – an award

 

11. The entry list opens on receipt of these regulations and closes finally at 12 noon on Saturday 29th  April 2017. The entry fee is £20.00.

13. The maximum entry for the meeting is 40 and the minimum is 15. Should any of the above figures not be reached the organisers have the right to amalgamate the classes or cancel the event.Entry will be selected by receipt. Entry fees may be refunded if cancelled 24 hours prior to the event.

15. Provisional results will be published as soon as possible after the event .D 26.11

 

16. Any protest must be lodged as per C5

 

17. {a} Details of the 2  tests will be available at signing on.

{b}Each driver will have 4 runs at each test with the best 3 result to count.

(c) Timing will be by hand held watch.

(d) The starting signal will be 3,2,1,GO.

(e) The order of attempting tests will be in class order.

 

18. Practising will not be allowed.

 

19. Competitors will be identified by numbers, which will be provided by the organisers.

 

20. Marking and penalties will be as printed in the appropriate section of the MSA General Regulations.

21.All other General Regulations of the RACMSA apply as written except for the following, which are modified:-

M.4.4.2 Pylons may be less than 1 metre high.
