Glenrothes Motor Sport Clubs’ 2023 Annual General Meeting will take place on Wednesday the 22nd March at 19.30 hrs in The Laurel Bank Hotel, Markinch, Glenrothes, KY7 6DB.

A light buffet will be provided for attendees. For those members who cannot attend the AGM in person can join a live Zoom meeting of the AGM.

The format for the meeting will be as per recent AGMs and will be confirmed 7 days before the AGM, the club Memorandum and Articles of Association, which have not been updated for some time and certainly not in line with technology we have now. Updating this important club document will be a priority for the Directors and Club Committee in 2023.

As in previous AGM’s the Club Directors and all committee member positions all automatically stand down, they are eligible for re-election if no other club member wishes to stand.

Both the Club President and Vice President have intimated that it is their intention to stand down at the AGM, a number of club roles remain unfilled from last year.

We would welcome members coming forward to help shape and run the club going forward.

Please send any nominations for joining the club Committee or proposals for discussion at the AGM to be received no later than Sunday March 12th. This is allow time for all members to be given time to see them before the AGM.

We need every Member to email letting us know if you will be attending in person, by Zoom or not able to make it.

Remember it’s your club, this is a good opportunity to give your opinion to be considered by all club members and to help shape the direction of the club going forward.

Any questions please ask.

Regards, Colin.
