50th Anniversary 1973 – 2023 and SSVRC Awards night

On behalf of GMSC I would like to invite you to a Special Event on Friday 10th November 2023 to celebrate fifty years of Glenrothes Motor Sport Club and the Awards presentation of the 2023 RSM Hire Scottish Single Venue Rally Championship.
The event will be held at the Laurel Bank Hotel, Markinch and it would be great if you could all join us to celebrate this milestone in the Club’s history.
The evening starts with a meet and greet to catch up with friends, old and new, then the buffet followed by the SSVRC Awards, then our guest speakers, the final part of the evening will be the ever popular Disco.
The planned programme is – arrive 19.00 for 19.30, buffet 20.00, awards 20.45, guest speakers 21.30, then Disco from 22.00 to 00.30.
Our guest speakers have a vast range of Motor Sport experience between them – George Donaldson former TTE and Mitsubishi team principal, Ian Forgan Sr. GMSC founder member and one of Scottish rallying more flamboyant drivers and Ian Forgan Jr. who has a wealth of experience from his days in the Ford one make championships to National and international events.
Ticket price for the evening is £25.00, this includes a welcoming drink, a hot Buffet, Tea and Coffee and a club gift.

If you are unable to use BACS we could take cash on the night.
Overnight accommodation is available at the Laurel Bank at special rates:
Double Room rate £70.00 (including breakfast)
Triple Room rate £75.00 (including breakfast)

Last years SSVRC awards were very well supported and everyone there had a great time, I am sure this one will be just as good and we look forward to seeing you on the night.
I am really looking forward to meeting all of the Club members past and present and catching up with some well kent faces from the past 50 years of the Club.
