Glenrothes Motor Sport Club NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is an urgent appeal to all current and past Club members, competitors and service crews for assistance with the GMSC 2024 Summer Stages Rally to allow it to run.
We are really struggling at the moment, as we are desperately short of manpower to carry out various jobs, we need people to help with set up on Sunday 02nd June, Wed. 05th, Thurs. 06th and Fri. 07th.
Currently there are not enough people coming forward to carry out the set up and the changeovers of the stages on the day of the rally and we are going to need as many people as possible with trailers / vans to clear all the stages at the end of the Rally.
The Supplementary Regulations state that Competitors are allowed to assist with set up without it being classed as practice (as long as they sign on), it would be great to see as many as possible assist us on at least one of the days. Competitors, if you had a spare member of your service crew would they be able to help with marshalling, change over or tear down during the day or even help with signing on / documentation at the start.
There are 2 events taking place at Crail the following day therefore the venue MUST BE CLEARED by Sat. night, it would be really appreciated if we could get as many competitors to help with their empty trailers to bring in the barrels and cones, the more people who help the quicker we will get finished, if you could please spare 30 minutes of your time on Sat. night that would be fantastic.

As a Club we are already working with other Clubs to run this event, but even with their help we are really struggling and it is getting harder without more support both from our Club and others, to make sure this event runs safely and efficiently, the last thing we want to do is cancel the event at this stage but without help this is a possibility.
As an addition if any of the Marshals would manage to bring someone along who could help with changeover that would be great, we are also needing marshals for the Andy Wilson Memorial Autotest the following day at the same venue if anyone would be interested.
