📍 Kames Motorsport Complex East Ayrshire
📅 Sunday 10th May 2026
Many thanks once again to our 2026 sponsors for their continued support; Blasting Magic, JWElectrical (Fife), McIntyre Masonry, Motorwise rescue & recovery, Mercury Motorsport, Airtec Integrity, Y- MAC Group, Engine 710, Onestop and MAC Grafix.👏
What a cracker of a day☀️🕶️ in Ayrshire for the 2nd round of the Blasting Magic Scottish Single Venue Rally Championship! From first engine roar to last flying finish, crews lit up the beautiful Kames tarmac with fierce pace, smooth precision and pure rally passion. 🌟
The tight service intervals and short, intense asphalt stages looping around the circuit complex, Kames rewards bravery, precision, and mechanical sympathy in equal measure.
Although modest in size compared with many single venue rallies, the stages at Kames are far from straightforward. The tight layout mixes flowing sections with complex sections and unforgiving kerbs, meaning even a small mistake can cost valuable seconds.
With a strong SSVRC entry list spanning four-wheel-drive contenders, high-powered two-wheel-drive machinery, experienced crews and emerging competitors, the opening round showcased both depth and diversity of the SSVRC.
