Every stage brought drama:
๐Ÿ’ฅ Massive commitment under braking
๐Ÿ’จ Full-send exits in clouds of tyre smoke
โšก Split-second moments separating victory and disaster
๐Ÿ† Incredible battles across every class

Day 1 of the Mach1 Stages once again lived up to its reputation as one of Scotland’s premier sealed-surface rallies, with the vast Machrihanish Airbase providing a demanding mix of flat-out straights, technical chicanes and abrasive tarmac. Organised by Dunfermline Car Club, the event tested both driver commitment and tyre management over a challenging weekend of competition

From the opening stage, crews pushed hard, with the fast, flowing layout rewarding precision and bravery in equal measure. Close battles ran throughout the field as competitors balanced outright pace against preserving their machinery on the unforgiving surface.

As ever, the marshals, organisers and volunteers fromย  kept the rally running at full attack pace all day long, a huge credit to Scottish grassroots motorsport.

By the final stage of the day the atmosphere was electric, with battered bodywork, smoking brakes and exhausted crews rolling back into service after an unforgettable day of motorsport mayhem only to do it all again the next day.

With a strong SSVRC entry list spanning four-wheel-drive contenders, high-powered two-wheel-drive machinery, experienced crews and emerging competitors, the third round showcased both depth and diversity of the SSVRC.
