2024 RALLYSCORE Scottish Autotest Championship Table
The Maximum Attack Autotest attracted 19 entries for their round of the BTRDA Autotest Championship, there was a good range of vehicles and the tests were challenging and left very little room for errors. The standard of driving was excellent as you would expect at this level and even when changing direction the wheels were only stopped for a split second, they make it look easy, but it takes a lot of skill to thread these cars between the pylons.
Congratulations to Willie Keaning on taking FTD in his Stryker, there was very little separating Alistair Moffat in his Mini Special and Willie all day until Alistair had a couple of line penalties which dropped him to second place. There were 4 entrants from the Scottish Championship at the event but only 2 competing – Oly McCollum in his MX5 and new entrant Hugh Sharp in his Suzuki Swift, Paul Davidson was there but minus his car as he had injured his back and Derek Smillie was marshalling on the event. Well done to the team at South of Scotland Car Club for a great event, very well run and finished ahead of schedule.
