Andy Wilson Autotest 2023
Glenrothes Motor Sport Club will be holding the Andy Wilson Memorial Autotest, supporting the British Heart Foundation at Knockhill on Sunday 09th April, the event will run from 11.00 until 16.00.
It is 21 years since Andy passed away while taking part in the sport he loved and with the support of his family this years event marks the 21st anniversary raising funds for the BHF and we aim to make it a special day for the charity and the Wilson family.
This year BHF are aiming to raise the public awareness of heart and circulatory disease with more promotion and also in the clubhouse at Knockhill. There will be the opportunity for the public to learn about CPR and to try CPR for themselves on the mannequins.
This year there will be 3 sections to the event – a Scottish Autotest Championship Clubman Autotest, a Novice Autotest with less reversing and less technical manoeuvres to encourage new drivers into Autotesting and an all forward PCA.
A GMSC club car will be available for any member who does not want to use their own car, a donation would be appreciated for the use of the car.
